Radio and television EPON+EOC two-way network reform project in a county in Hubei Province
A county is a subordinate county in Jingmen City, Hubei Province, and has 14 townships under its jurisdiction. In 2010, the two-way network transformation of the access network began, with the EPON+EOC model as the mainstay, providing broadband services and interactive TV services, of which the interactive TV service adopts the IPQAM approach. Changguang Technology exclusively builds EPON+EOC solutions.
This project mainly focuses on urban areas and townships, and the user density is not high. We chose the box-type OLT equipment C1500 in the front-end equipment room in the solution. The EPON system has a split ratio of less than 1:32 and mainly uses secondary light splitting. No more than three levels of splitting, most of the optical nodes cover 100 houses, and the coaxial distribution network is passive; there are also a small number of EOC systems that pass through the two-stage amplifier. The current equipment operation is stable.
The OPView graphical network management system provided by Long Optical Technology can realize the unified network management of EPON and EOC systems, and realize the automatic discovery of EOC central office device topology through the access network cluster management protocol. After the EOC central office is powered on, it can automatically establish a topology connection with the connected ONU equipment. At the same time, the EOC central office equipment can automatically obtain the equipment management parameters and the terminal default template, thus realizing the plug and play of the EOC central office equipment, greatly reducing The technical requirements of the equipment installation personnel, and also reduce the workload of data configuration. At the same time, through the cluster management protocol, network changes can be reflected in the network management in real time, which greatly facilitates the operation and maintenance of the system.
At present, the coverage of two-way business of approximately 150,000 users in county towns and townships has been basically achieved.
