           Wi-Fi Alliance (full name: International Wi-Fi Alliance Organization, English: Wi-Fi Alliance, referred to as WFA), is a business alliance that owns the Wi-Fi trademark. It is responsible for Wi-Fi certification and trademark authorization, and is headquartered in Austin, Texas, USA.

       Founded in 1999, the main purpose is to promote the compatibility certification of Wi-Fi products worldwide and develop wireless LAN technology based on the IEEE802.11 standard. The alliance has more than 200 members, 42% of which are from the Asia-Pacific region, and there are 5 members in China.

       In 1999, in order to promote the formulation of IEEE 802.11b specifications, the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA) was formed.

       In October 2002, it was renamed Wi-Fi Alliance.
